January was rescued from a neighborhood in Philadelphia. She had already had numerous litters of kittens and none of the kittens survived. The kind woman who rescued January thought that a neighbor may have been harming the kittens and was concerned for January's safety as well.

January is a quiet girl but likes to be scratched behind her ear and leans her head into your hand when your petting her. She's quite docile and seems to just take things as they come.

She has tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia and has been vaccinated and spayed.
