Description: Please help us find Twinkle his forever home! Poor Twinkle found himself homeless when his caretaker was evicted from her home. Luckily, STC stepped in and was able to rescue him along with several other cats at the home. Twinkle wasn’t very socialized to humans, even though he was born inside. Thankfully, an STC volunteer stepped up and offered to help. After a few months of constant love and attention from our volunteer and her wonderful family, Twinkle has made an enormous amount of progress. He now loves attention and purrs up a storm when he is around people. He loves to be brushed and played with. He also loves to sit on laps and next to people on the couch! Twinkle will also let you hold him, although he is still a little timid about that. In time, he will get used to his new people and should be fine with handling of any kind. As an added bonus, Twinkle has extra toes on all of his paws! What a cutie! We believe that he would do best in a quiet household with people who are experienced cat owners. He does seem to be happier as an only cat, as there has been some spats with other kitties. In addition, a family with older children or no children is preferred. Twinkle’s former owner did have a medium sized older dog, so that may be ok if the dog is very docile. We have updated all of Twinkle’s vaccines, he has also been FELV/FIV tested negative, wormed, neutered, and microchipped for life. Please be a hero and give this kitty the forever home he deserves!
