Description:Alexa and her siblings were born to a stray cat in Doylestown. Although they were cared for and regularly fed by a kind person, they were never fully socialized and spent their time living both indoors and outdoors.
Sadly, their caretaker recently fell on hard times and was evicted from her home. Alexa and her family were suddenly left without shelter or someone to look after them. Thankfully, Save the Cats Inc. was able to step in and bring them to safety.
Alexa and her family are now looking for a barn home or safe indoor/outdoor situation where they can live comfortably while helping keep rodents away. While they are not interested in being handled, they do enjoy the presence of people and will typically stay close to the person who feeds them once they settle into their new environment.
Alexa is especially bonded with her sister Eleanor, and we would love to see them adopted together if possible. However, they can be placed separately if the right homes come along.
They seem to get along well with other cats and would do well placed with their family members or with other barn cats.
Alexa and her family are spayed/neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, fully vaccinated, and examined by a veterinarian, so they are ready for their new home.
These cats have already been through a lot, and we would love to see them settled somewhere safe and stable where they can live out their lives being cared for.
