Description:
Ami was first seen wandering the street in Philadelphia. It was obvious that she had recently had a litter of kittens. A friend of Save the Cats thought it best to wait to find the kittens before bringing Ami inside to get spayed and adopted. It took a while to locate the kittens. The people who had them had thrown Ami out and didn't want her. In the mean time she had developed an eye infection and had a ruptured globe. She was brought inside and with lots of TLC and good vet care, her eye healed. Everyone was so concerned with her eye that nobody noticed that she was pregnant until she was almost ready to have her kittens. Her second litter is now grown and Ami has been spayed. She is a friendly girl with a very sweet disposition. She has tested negative for feline AIDS and Leukemia and has her distemper and rabies vaccinations.
