My name is Mindy. I was given to an elderly woman, by a family who was just too busy to take care of me. I was very happy, until my new mom had a horrible accident, and was left with a broken back, and unable to care for herself, let alone me. There were nurses that would take shifts, coming in and out of the house, to take care of both of us. It was a very scarey time for me. There were so many different people coming in and out. Sadly, my mom rececently passed away. I was left in the house alone for over a month. The nurses still would come in , and feed me, change my water, and do my litter. I was just really lonely without my mom. Luckily, one of the nurses contacted a volunteer at Save The Cats. STC was able to come and take me to the saftey of a foster home. I'm hoping that one day, that I can live out my life with another family. I am a little shy, but in the right environment, I will thrive. I love to be petted, and enjoy sleeping with my people. I would feel most comfortable in a quieter household. Please consider adopting me. I will be forever grateful. I have been tested negative for FELV/FIV, and have received all of my updated vaccinations.
